|Greg, Donna, Me, Tani, Mark|
We have raised over $36,600 this year for the benefit of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. The generosity of so many has been overwhelming and I am grateful to everyone who has donated.
Alicia, Jane and Betsy of the MMRF Endurance Events Program. You are simply the best. You make it so easy for the hundreds of MMRF runners from around the world to reach our fundraising and running goals. I am proud to be a part of the MMRF Power Team.
Thanks must also go to my friends at, Drymax for your amazing support over the years with the greatest socks around. Nathan for supplying runners/athletes everywhere with the gear that will help us push potential. Vita Coco who began supporting me with all natural hydration just in time for my BW heat training. Yurbuds, for providing me with inspiring sounds when I need it most.
The Badwater RD Chris Kostman, the entire staff and all volunteers. Your commitment to and passion for this experience is evident in all that you do out there. Amazing!
All of my colleagues, friends and family who not only put up with me during these past few months, but who encouraged me to give it all I had.
My parents Abe and Marge, and by brother and sister-in-law Rich and Cheryl not only for their support but, for being our home base crew. They took the entire week off to take the most amazing care of our daughter. Knowing she was in good hands allowed us to focus on the race with no worries. We still missed her of course:)
My crew Donna, Greg, Mark and Tani. You guys were incredible. Not once did I need to worry about a single thing, except for the time you lost me:) (more on that in the next post). Seriously, having you guys out there was exactly what I knew it would be. It was perfect and there is no way I could have made it without you. I share every ounce of this with you.
My 3 amazing children who inspire me in so many ways. I received very special notes from my two boys which I read at various points along the way. Their words provided me with the strength to go on when my tank was running low.
As always, a very special thank you goes to my wife Tani. She is my rock! She always seems to know what I need and when I need it. Most importantly she believes in me and always encourages me to chase my dreams. I am living my dream with you babe! I love you.
Nearly 3 years ago, I made Badwater my goal! It is now a reality and proof yet again that we can make our dreams come true with the effort and support of others. Together we can do anything including finding a cure for cancer. I hope everyone gets out there and chases their dreams, whatever they may be.
Peace and Have A Great Day
